Legal Business Developer Agent

Purpose of the Job

The Legal Business Developer is responsible for the identification of business opportunities internationally. The incumbent is responsible for the development of sales, customer relationships and manages marketing initiatives to increase market and sales share and order intake for LineaBlu.

Key Performance Areas:

Identification and development of business opportunities

  • Pre-empt requirements through market and research/market and sales awareness and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Position LineaBlu as potential partner, supplier and offer commercially attractive solutions.

Identify and develop business opportunities

  • Confirm which LineaBlu business solutions will be suitable for the market and sales opportunity.
  • Pre-empt requirements through market research/market and sales awareness and engagement with potential customers.
  • Prepare and implement various capture methods for business development.
  • Prepare pricing strategies according to customer budgets and procurement methods.
  • Contract suitable partners within market to execute strategies successfully

Internal stakeholder liaising

  • Coordinate and align with management team.
  • Liaise with internal role players to collate relevant inputs and establish an executable solution.
  • Provide inputs to the director for business development opportunities.

Customer relationship management

  • Ensure regular and effective communication with end users and service recipients
  • Monitor and ensure optimal customer satisfaction before and during order execution.
  • Manager all customers’ communication and maintain effective relationships.

Post requirements

  • Tertiary qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in legal business development
  • Experience in the legal sales management
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of LineaBlu services.
  • Represent LineaBlu at all levels of negotiation both technically and commercially.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
