Associate Corporate & Commercial

Reporting to: CEO

Purpose of the Job

The Associate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing corporate & commercial legal documents for clients of LineaBlu, assessing legal needs for clients and offer legal advice where required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft and finalise contracts for clients of LineaBlu
  • Coordinating and filing all documents involving staff and clients
  • Reviewing matters and providing updates to directors
  • Analysing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions
  • Coordinating and preparing administrative reports
  • Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicating with directors and other associates to ensure appropriate and relevant advice to clients of LineaBlu.
  • Ensuring confidentiality

Post Requirements

  • Accredited Law degree
  • M&A experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice
  • Experience with facilitating deal process, performing due diligence, negotiation deals, execute contract and manage ongoing post-closing activities.
  • Experience with negotiating, structuring and drafting complex agreement sthat is favourable and agreeable by all parties, Shareholders, Board of Directors, Officers, Management and Employees.
